Mustique - Activities
Though only three miles long, the Caribbean island of Mustique offers many
ways to have the vacation of a lifetime, including some activities that are
quite unique to Mustique: |
| |
Beaches |
| Macaroni Beach is perhaps the most famous of our nine beaches and is
situated on the east coast of the island. Other popular beaches on the
Atlantic or Caribbean are Endeavour, Lagoon, L’Ansecoy, Pasture Bay and
Simplicity, several of which have picnic hut facilities. |
| |
Bird Watching |
Mustique’s lagoon is the perfect setting for bird watching. Over 50 species
are indigenous to Mustique including the Mangrove Cuckoo and Tropical
Kingbird. |
| |
| Day Trips & Excursions |
The Mustique Company will organize day trips to St. Vincent with tours to the
capital, Kingstown, La Soufriere volcano, waterfalls, Salt Pond at Owia and
guided hiking and biking tours through the rainforest. Social Director, Rene'

Barbados, Martinique and other islands. |

Dining |
The Cotton House hotel offers a beach barbecue, or lunch poolside in a
shaded terrace overlooking a coconut plantation. Afternoon tea is served in
the verandah. For dinner, the Great Room verandah is the perfect setting for
a candlelight dinner. |
| |
A weekly Tuesday night cocktail party is hosted by The Mustique Company
for island guests and villa owners at the Cotton House Great Room. |
| |
Basil's Bar and Restaurant, sitting on stilts at the water's edge of Britannia
Bay, is a popular hangout for day visitors, sailors, villa owners and island
guests to enjoy casual drinks and food. Every Wednesday is "Jump Up" with
live music. |
| |
| For the freshest catch of the day, guests can try the Fish Market on the
Britannia Bay waterfront. Stop by Sweetie Pie Bakery for freshly baked
pastries and breads. Corea's Food Store will provide your daily needs. Firefly
Bar and Restaurant is a social spot at sunset and in the evening. |

houses. Day trips to St. Vincent can be arranged for hiking and biking tours
(with guides) through the rainforest. Mustique is easy to explore on foot.
Some beaches are connected along the coastline by rustic stone paths. For
a more invigorating hike, the island has recently added a 2 mile Fitness Trail
with 14 different exercise stations/posts. |
| |
Jeep Tours |
Kawasaki jeeps and mountain bikes can be rented from the Mustique
Mechanical Services to do some exploring on your own. Many roads are
