Of the 89 privately owned luxury villas, there are
55 available for weekly rental, ranging from two to seven bedrooms,
each with its own style of architecture, interior design and
personality. The remaining plots of freehold title land available for
new villa owners are situated to the south and will be sold over a six
to ten year period. Each residential site is spaciously separated by
greenery, pasture land or virgin forest affording maximum privacy. |

Basil’s Bar & Restaurant – One of Mustique’s best known residents,
Basil Charles, presides over this popular gathering place (open
365 days a year) which offers the perfect setting for day visitors,
sailors, villa owners and island guests to enjoy casual drinks
and food. Sitting on stilts at the water’s edge, Basil’s provides
the ideal location to view the sunset. Also not to be missed
is the weekly Wednesday “Jump Up & Barbecue” with live music.

Dress Code |
Ladies may wear dresses in the evening. No jacket and tie are
required anywhere on the island. Casual, yet sophisticated attire. |

Activities |
Walking, hiking, horse riding trails cover much of the island and a
Fitness Trail (about 2 miles) has recently been added. The
Equestrian Center and Watersports provide instruction on riding,
scuba diving, sailing and windsurfing. Tennis lessons are available
with the resident pro. Mustique’s lagoon is the perfect setting for
birdwatching. |

Off Island Activities |
The Mustique Company will organize day trips to St. Vincent with
tours to the capital, Kingstown, La Soufriere volcano and Salt Pond
at Owia. Fishing trips and day sails to the Grenadine Islands of
Bequia, Canouan, Tobago Cays, Palm and Petit St. Vincent can be
arranged. |

Information on “What’s Happening” on Mustique is provided by René
de Freitas at The Mustique Company. Assistance with planning
parties and weddings is also available. |

Vehicle Rental: |
Jeeps, mules and mountain bikes can be rented from the Mustique
Mechanical Services. Drivers must be at least 17 years of age and
hold a valid international driver’s license to obtain local driver’s
permit. This license can be purchased at the airport. The speed limit
is 20 miles per hour. One vehicle is included with the villa rental. |

The Doctor operates a fully-equipped modern clinic and dispensary
offering full medical and emergency care, including the arrangement

Conservation Area |
Mustique, its beaches, shores and surrounding waters for 1,000
yards is a Conservation Area. The flora and fauna and wildlife are all
protected. Jet skis and spear guns are not permitted. |

Lovell Village is a focal point of the island with its waterfront position
by Britannia Bay. Basil’s Bar and a handful of shops and services

House specializes in designer fashions and accessories specially
